At Hamid Fabrics PLC, sustainability is at the core of our operations. Through innovative measures in water and energy management, we strive to minimize our environmental footprint while maximizing efficiency. Transitioning from conventional lighting to LED technology has resulted in a remarkable 55% reduction in energy consumption, from 244kWh to 110kWh. Moreover, our commitment extends to the reuse of steam condensate at the boiler, yielding a significant 10% energy saving. We harness hot water generation and reuse from various sources, including CRP and generator flu-gas, significantly reducing our environmental impact. Environmental responsibility is ingrained in our practices, evident through our Biological Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) recognized as a Green ETP, recycling and reusing 850 metric tons of caustic annually, and our compliance with ZDHC standards. We prioritize transparency and safety, maintaining updated Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Manufacturing Restricted Substances Lists (MRSL). Additionally, our low liquor ratio operations in yarn dyeing and rainwater harvesting initiatives further underscore our commitment to sustainable practices. At Hamid Fabrics PLC, sustainability isn’t just a goal; it’s our way of business.
